The Valais holiday resort in the heart of the Alps offers visitors one of the most outstanding alpine panoramas as well as the most up-to-date infrastructures for relaxation and recreation.

The idyllic mountain village at the foot of the Matterhorn has developed into one of the major summer and winter holiday resorts. There are no motor vehicles in Zermatt: the only means of transport allowed in the village are horse-drawn carriages and electric vehicles – the best conditions for a restful and peaceful holiday. Conoisseurs are well served here - whether hiking or visiting the many village or mountain slope restaurants, which have been awarded 189 Gault Millau points in the summer season (233 points in the winter). Local specialities, surprisingly presented, are very popular, but there is also worldclass international cuisine available. As our slogan says, «Zermatt – real holidays».
